Enjoy Japanese food on a houseboat or charter boat!
Enjoying the cherry blossoms from the water creates unforgettable memories for all visitors, both from Japan and overseas. View the rows of cherry blossom trees from a boat. When the cherry blossoms start to fall, the sight of a snowstorm of cherry blossom petals falling on the boat as it sails through the water is a once-in-a-lifetime, beautiful moment.
On the houseboat, you will be guided to Tsukudajima River City and the cherry blossoms along the Sumida River. You will also enjoy the rows of cherry blossom trees further upstream in Sumida Park. The Tokyo Skytree standing behind the cherry blossoms in Sumida Park is very impressive. If the weather is good, we will take you to an Instagrammable spot where you can see the Skytree reflected in the Asahi Beer Headquarters Building and the real thing, the Double Skytree. During the cherry blossom season, the Double Skytree and the blooming cherry blossoms create a beautiful futuristic view.
On a charter boat, you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing spots that you can't reach on a houseboat. The Oyokogawa River in Koto Ward is a spectacular sight lined with cherry blossom trees. On the Nihonbashi River, you will pass under the cherry blossom trees of the Ai Garden Terrace. This is a particularly popular course at the end of the cherry blossom season, when you can pass through the flower rafts on the Nihonbashi River.
Let's go see Japanese fireworks on a houseboat or charter boat!
It's summer, and fireworks festivals are held in various locations across Tokyo. Watching Tokyo's fireworks from the water is a truly dreamy experience.
The Sumida River Fireworks Festival is Tokyo's most traditional and prestigious fireworks festival. Over 900,000 spectators gather every year to watch the feast of around 20,000 fireworks.
The Odaiba Rainbow Fireworks will be back in winter from 2023. This fireworks display takes place in Odaiba in the winter, when the air is clear and the night view is especially beautiful. Every Saturday in December (except December 30th), about 1,100 fireworks will be launched each day over Odaiba, which has a fantastic atmosphere lit up with Christmas illuminations.
On Saturday, December 23rd, there will also be musical fireworks set to music.
